Curtain closes on 2006 Soccer Club championships

Rain stops the ZimWarriors/Pakuranga clash

Rain got in between the two raging bulls of Auckland, the game had to be stopped. The game was going to be between the most improved team which ended their season on top of ASFA league in 2006 and the free going social team from East Auckland - Pakuranga.

PakBlues (Pakuranga) was going into the games as underdogs but they claim to have had a few tricks up their sleeve.

However Green Bombers (GBs) will clash with PakBlues this weekend. This is best described as a big/small brother fight. There is always an element of soft fists whenever these two teams clash. The results are very unpredictable.

Without a goalkeeper, the GBs will be banking on their cornerstones Sami and Tsunami. It is a pitty that their young front wizards are a bit squicky with rust (they remain nameless). Left is Patrick who may find it a handful to contain the new PakBlues secret striking formation (yet to be unvailed). Eyes will be on the two Simbas and of PakBlues. But PakBlues veterans Mapeza and the two Kudas are simply a problem to them.

Time will tell.
